Practice Manager- Heather Heatley

• The practice manager is responsible for the smooth running of the practice and is available by appointment to discuss any suggestions which may help to improve our service to you.

Practice Nurses

Our Practice Nurses are available by appointment.  They can help you with:

Midwife

• A midwife (Carolyn Hay) is attached to the surgery.  She provides antenatal care & classes.

• The midwife has a surgery per week at the practice held on Thursday afternoons.  Please make appointments with the receptionist.

District Nurses

• The District Nurses are based at Park House.   Messages can be left at the surgery which they will pick up during the day.

Community Psychiatric Nurse (CPN)

• A CPN is attached to the Surgery.  She provides a comprehensive service for adults (age 16 to 65) from the Surgery with mental health problems.  All referrals must come from GP's.  Contact number for further information 01403-227000 extension 7359 or leave a message through the Surgery.

Health Visitors

• The Health Visitors are based in New Park House and can be contacted on 01403-223252 or 01403-223316.

• They run the following clinics:

  • Roffey Millennium Hall, Crawley Road on Mondays 10.00 - 11.30 am.

  • Holbrook Club, North Heath Lane on Thursday 10.00 - 11.30 am.

              No appointments are necessary for these clinics.
   

• They can give help and advice on any child care issue or parenting problems, i.e. sleep and behaviour/potty training/general child development, nutritional advice and minor ailments.

• Assessments are offered for all children at 8 months and 2 years by appointment, which will be sent to you.

• For first time parents, a visit is arranged at home in the antenatal period and a post natal group is run at Horsham Hospital.  We work closely with other local agencies and can be a source of referral if you have specific problems, e.g. post natal depression, children with special needs.

Our team of receptionists will be your link with the medical and nursing staff at the surgery.  They will try their best to help you with any queries.

• Please ask them for appointments, home visits, advice regarding clinics, repeat prescriptions and for messages for the District Nursing Team.  If you are requesting an emergency appointment or home visit, please assist the receptionist by giving brief details to pass on to the doctor.
