Personal Lists
The doctors like to run personal lists and you are encouraged to see your own doctor whenever possible. Exceptions are emergencies, when doctors are on holiday and for certain specialised services.
Doctor's Special Interests
The partners like to specialise in one or two areas of medicine and your own GP may refer you to another partner for a more detailed opinion.

The World Health Organisation recommends immunisations before travel to the following countries:
Africa, Asia and the Far East, Caribbean, Central America, Eastern Europe, Indian Continent, Middle East, Pacific Islands, South America, Soviet Union.
Patients travelling to these destinations should printout & complete the Holbrook Pre-Travel Questionnaire, then return it to reception. Phone the surgery after 4 days to make an appointment to see the nurse for immunisations if required.
A useful website which will
give you advice on all the countries of the world, maps for malaria areas and
which vaccines are recommended is www.fitfortravel.scot.nhs.uk
N.B.
Immunisations take 14 days to be fully effective so please arrange the appointment at least 14 days before your trip, but preferably 4-6 weeks.
If you are planning a “Gap
Year” or a trip that will last longer than 1 month please book a 20 minute
appointment with the Travel Nurse to discuss your travel plans as you may
require a number of immunisations given over a period of a few months.
